GRIEF is a short 5-10mn game I made a few years back. It's very personal to me and I'm releasing it to see if some people relate to what I was trying to express.

It was initially a M&K game but it also works well with VR.

Please come forward with any bugs you may find.

Objective:

It's pretty straightforward. You just have to find a way out of the loop, and there are three endings.

Controls:

- QWERTY (or AZERTY) for movement.

- CTRL to Crouch, SHIFT to sprint.

- There is no action button.

VR Controls:

VR works although I only tested it myself with a WMR so it might have some unforeseen bugs.

You can use controller or mouse/keyboard, seated or standing up, however you want it.

- [8](numpad) and [2](numpad) or adjust height.

- [4](numpad) and [6](numpad) to snap rotate.

- On controller, use D-PAD to adjust height and rotation.

- VR Controllers are not necessary. You can use keyboard or PC controller.

Sadly, I don't understand. I thought this was gonna have a similar gameplay than the "Exit 8" game, but the fucking phantom gurney keeps pushing me ahead, I can barely actually look at my surroundings and see what I can do differently, the fucking thing teleports to me once i slightly put my back against it. It feels weird and unfinished, I don't know.

Exit 8 is similar, but it's not the same gameplay. GRIEF is a puzzle game, where you have to experiment with your environment to know how to exit the loop. Discreet clues can be found in the corridor. Sorry you didn't like it

Am i supposed to keep walking? I want to understand the game first before I can really say if it's my cup of tea or not haha

The only interaction in this game is with where you look, that's the only clue I can give you without giving you the answer. If you want more clues, look at the posters. Happy gaming!

Thanks bro i'll give it another chance next weekend :) I love observation type games. I was just confused about this one because of the gurney going sassy on me haha

Everything about this was awesome! I don't have VR but I imagine it's a great experience bc the hospital felt so real in just normal gameplay. Really enjoy the story line and subject matter.

A big thanks to Developer malmerida for creating this journey of a game even though it is that short. I somewhat felt what you wanted to relay with your game and it was definitely GRIEF and how to move on from that pain. I wish you won't stop creating more games in the future and I wish you the best of health.

I'm really glad you were able to relate what I was trying to express. Thanks for playing the game

Without a doubt, the game is very interesting. I believe his story is about someone's struggle to overcome grief and the loss of a loved one, at least that's what it seems to me. Anyway, congratulations on your game. Really interesting.

I like your interpretation, thanks for playing the game
